                           BIOGRAPHY OF HAZRAT KAHWAJA AJMEER (R.A)

The actual name of khawaja  Ajmeer is “Syed E_Na_Moineodin  Hasan Sanjarii Ajmeeri R.A”. Some of His pen names are Gareeb Nawaz, Sultan_E_Hind, Nayibi Mustafa S.A.W. He was born in 14th of Rajab 530 Higri that is 18 April 1139 CE. Sir D.W. Arnold in his book The Preaching’s Of Islam and Sheikh Mohadis Dehlvi R.A in Akhbar_UL_Akhiyaar says that khawaja was born in Siyeestaan more particular in village of Sanjar in Iran. From His mother Majidah, Khawaja is Hassani Syed as his mother is accepted to be among the family of Imam Hassan_e_Mujtabah R.Z. From His father Syed Gyas_Ud_Din Khawaja is Hussaini Syed as his father is accepted to be among the family of Imam Hussain. This is khawaja’s personality, he is Both Hasani As Well As Hussaini, this personality in particular is known as Najeeb_Ud_Tarafain.

                       In this period, Changyez Khan started a fight along with 60000 Mongols; they first destroyed Turkistan then after words Iran and Iraq (Bagdad). When Changyez Khan started war with the king of Sanjar, at the  time khawaja’s father left along his family to the village of khourasan in Iran. When khawaja’s father died, he left one orchid and a Pan-chakki (also known as the water mill). Khawaja once was in his orchid where he incidentally met Hazrat Ibrahiem  Kandozi majzood R.A and Hazrat offered him grapes of his orchid . After he finished eating grapes, he in return gave him something (tabaruk). This tabaruk ignited the fire of tawheed in the heart of khawaja and then he left the home.

                        It is not that khawaja was only an Awliya, he was also Iyemayi Hadees , Muhadis, Imam Aqeeda, mutakalim. He then visited Samarkand and Bukhara where he read Aloom_E_Zahiri, Aloom_E_Fiq and Asool_E_Fiq. Moulana musharif_Ud-Din & Maulana Hisaam_Ud_din are found among the teachers of khawaja. More Information is not found about his teachers because many books were destroyed by tataries in Darya_e_dajlah which on on side flowed in red blood of 23 lakh of Muslims and on other end with the black ink of books for 3 days. Syed Hashim Fatehpori R.A says that he has read in Kutub Khanah Aasfiya that Khawaja for 3 years in Madinah gave daras_e_Hadees. Then Khawaja left in search of Murshid and in Harwan Naishapur he met Khawaja Usmaan Harwani R.A in 562 Higri and became Murshid of Khawaja Usmaan. For 20 years he only did service of khawaja Usmaan r.a. After 20 years khawaja Usmaan along with khawaja Ajmeer went to Harmain where they hear a sound saying “I accepted khawaja as my friend”.Then they visited Madinah where mustafa s.a.w told khawaja Ajmeer to visit hind in his dream.

                      After khawaja came back to Bagdad where he met Hazrat Sheikh Najam_Ud_Din Qubra.Then Khawaja left Bagdad and went in Hamadan where on the way he saw people praying fire, he tried to stop them but they refused and then khawaja Usmaan took 7 year old child with himself and jumped in fire after 4 hours he came out of the fire along with the child and this made those people to accept Islam.

                   It is said that Moulana Zia_Ud_Din Bulkhi was against Sufism and Tasawuf when he heared about khwaja he came to meet him and want to start a Munazirah, but khawaja offered him Kabaab of some animal; when he ate he lost all his knowledge ; he then gave him  2^nd kabaab, he got knowledge and feelings back and khawaja told him, is it enough or not ? He replied please take me under your shadow and then  Moulana Zia_Ud_Din Bulkhi became mureed of khawaja Ajmeer. These  incidents are written in the book Sayir_Ul_Aarifien. After Bulk khawaja went in Gazni where he met Shams_Ul_Aarifeen Abdul Wahid. From Gazni, he visited Lahore where he met Hazrat Hussain Zanjani R.a Then From Lahore Khawaja visited Delhi And finally reached Ajmeer With 40 Mureeds.

                 In Ajmeer at that time was the kingship of Prithvi Raj and he did many attempts to kill Khawaja but every time Prithvi Raj failed. Khawaja then conquered all parts of hind and preached Islam through  his talks and Karamaat . He himself built the mosque in Ajmeer. Then he sent his mureed to King Prithvi Raj but he refused and king in return hurt them. Coincidently; sultaan shaab_Ud_Din Goori in Afghanistan saw khawaja in his dream where khwaja gave him the kingship of Hindustan. shahab_Ud_din then came with his forces and got the kingship of Hind.

                 Then, Khawaja sent his mureeds and students all over India. At the time of death khawaja had 3 son’s but he did not gave khilafat to any one of them but  gave it  to Hazrat kutub_ud_din Bukhtiyar khaki. He died  in 1236 CE and on the head of khawaja it was written: “Haza Habeib_ul_allah”.
